Dear Sir:- In our settlement today, it is understood that you do not take the Houdon bust of "La Clairon" which we leave in your house for the present on approval, and which we had involved to you for two hundred and twenty five thousand (225,000.00) dollars. Also, we have turned over to you without charge, in consideration of the settlement made with you today, five (5) bronze from the J. Pierpont Morgan Collection, numbered on the list given you M.B. 23, M.B. 24, M.B. 84, M.B. 69 and M.B. 114; and have also delivered to you without charge, in consideration of the settlement made with you today, all of the goods left at your residents at Pride's Crossing on approval, as per statement of July 21st, 1916.
