46. A PAIR OF CANDELABRA FOR SEVEN LIGHTS. They are formed of ormolu vases containing a bunch of roses which form the sconces for the candles. At the base of the vase are seated three Bacchantes after Marin (1773-1834) playing on various instruments. Fine chased rams' heads terminate the columns supporting the vases. Lapislazuli of remarkable quality decorates the body of the vases and forms he background for the metal work on the background for the metal work on the plinths.
