41. A SMALL LOUIS XVI TABLE WITH ROSE DU BARRI SEVRES PLAQUES. In front it has three drawers with the finest quality Sevres Porcelain Plaques with reserves of flowers bordered by Oeil de Perdrix Rose du Barry. The other three sides are similarly decorated and the top is formed of an important plaque en suite. The mounds which are of the highest quality were executed by Gouthiere and represent ivy leaves, quiver and darts. A delicate stretcher of violet wood and mahogany holds the legs of the table. Signed by Carlin. Nearly identical with the one in the Wallace Collection, London.
