Dear Mr. Frick: - I enclose our Custom House brokers reply in reference to the duty on the Swan bronze. There is no doubt in my mind that you ought to pay only 20%. If Swan has not sent the certificate referred to, will you write to him asking for one, or do you wish us to do it? The fine Daubigny has just reached us, but it is not yet framed. Do wish us to send it on to you? or are you likely to be in New York soon, in which event, if you are desirous of seeing it, we could reserve it for you.
