—OFFICE OF — Feb. 3/98 February 10 1898 Ans'd H. C. FRICK

MR. H. C. Frick, Pittsburg, Pa. Dear Mr. Frick,

I hope that you reached home safely and found everybody well. It may be that some of the news papers would like to reproduce some of the Chartran paintings. Is there any objection why Mr. Morse's portrait should not be reproduced if wanted? I will thank you to telegraph me your decision. The Jules Dupre and Detaille came safely to hand. I have concluded not to write to Mr. Morse about the Dupre, and should it still be here when he arrives, I will offer it to him. With kind regards believe me, Yours very truly, Roland F. Knoedler
