Dear Sir: We return you herewith, duly receipted, statement for $22757.05. for which we received your check this morning enclosed in your letter of the 29th inst. On the 7th of this month we received from you Mr. J. H. Harding's check of $640.00 Which we have placed to the credit of your account. Deducting therefrom 22.10 for the omission in our statement for express charges paid on protocol to J. B. Townsend, Charleston, to which you draw our attention in your letter of March 19th, 1902, leaves 617. 90 for which we enclose our check for your order, the receipt of which kindly acknowledge, and oblige.
