Dear Mr. Frick

We confirm the sale recently made to you for thirty thousand dollars (Fifteen thousand dollars each) of N. Diaz's "Mare aux Viperes" & C. F. Daubigny's "Les Laveuses." We accept your proposition of settlement viz. five thousand dollars on the 20th of the following months: January, February, March, April, May & June, interest at the rate of 6% to be allowed you on payments made prior to above dates. These two paintings are insured by us until shipped to you by our New York house.
