My dear Mr. Dunn, You will see by the enclosed correspondence that I am precluded from consulting any of the Knoedler people, and I am quite anxious to have some one in who I have confi-dence see this picture. When you are in London won't you kindly call on Mr. White and show him this correspondence and ask him to put you in the way of seeing the picture? Will you then kindly cable me you opinion? If it is favorable, I may open negotiations for it. You might also express an opin-ion as to whether you think it is a better picture than the one I have. I hope I am not troubling you too much and will be glad to reciprocate and time I can. I hope you are quite well.
