Dear Sir:-

    Complying with your instructions we have taken from your residence 640 Fifth Avenue this morning thirty eight (38) paintings, as follows;-

5 Rembrandts. 4 Sir Joshua Reynolds. 1 Gainsborough. 1 Vermeer. 1 Terburg 1 Van der Cappelle. 1 Hoppner 2 Romneys. 2 small Cuyps. 2 Ruysdaels. 1 Ostade. 2 Greccos. 3 Corots. 1 Constable. 1 Daubigny. 1 Rousseau. 2 Van Dycks. 3 Franz Hals. 1 Turner. 1 Millet. 1 Velasquez. 1 Hobbema

    These we have placed in a steel car of the N.Y.C. & H.R. No. 2764 and we are shipping them by American Express to Prides Crossing where our men will be on hand in the morning to unload and rehang the pictures as per your instructins. The pictures are not insured in transit.
