Duveen Brothers 720 Fifth Avenue New York Received JAN 30 1914 HJD-M January 27th, 1914. Henry C. Frick, Esq. Fifth Avenue-51st Street, New York.

Dear Mr. Frick: Although we feel you do not need many words from us to express our gratitude for your exceeding generosity in the matter of our recent Exhibition, yet I cannot refrain, now that it is over and the pictures have been returned to your home, from giving voice to what has been very general expression of gratitude for your courtesy in allowing the public to see your wonderful paintings. These expressions have come not merely from the New York public but also from visitors from out-lying towns and cities, many of whom have come specially to see the Exhibition, and it will be a long time before its memory fades. Thinking that you would like to possess a few copies of the illustrated catalogue, perhaps for some of your friends, we have much pleasure in sending to your house a number of these, and hope you will accept them with renewed assurances of our cordial appreciation of your kindness. Believe me to remain, Yours very truly, Duveen Brothers
