I have no doubt myself about the ultimate result which must be the destruction of Germany as an Empire. Anyone who has followed the tendency of events for some time past can have no doubt about the aggressiveness of the German War Party and that the position taken up by England was just and honorable. I believe the loosely knit group of British countries will come out of this War welded into an Empire and stronger than ever in the world's civilization and trade.

From time to time if I see anything of importance I will communicate with you. With the very strong economical position of the United States and the elimination of Germany as a trade competitor, your position should soon begin to be good.

With kind regards, I am, Yours sincerely, Signed J.H. Dunn
