24th. July, 1916.

Dear Mr. Frick. The enclosed paragraph appeared in the "Morning Post" of Saturday last. The appointment of Mr. Holmes I know will not interest you, but what the writer, Greig, the Art Critic of the "Morning Post", says about your Picture of "The Mall" may interest you. He is a rugged man, who says exactly what he thinks and nothing more, and he has quite a good knowledge of English Pictures. What he says about your Picture of "The Mall" is valuable to you, as it is quite unasked for and entirely spontaneous. I agree with him. I enclose you the cutting, as I thought it would be of interest to you. I am, Yours very faithfully, Signed: Lockett Agnew.,

H.C. Frick Esq. Penn & Holmwood Avenue, Pittsburgh.
