Mr. James Marwick, 79 Wall Street, New York. Dear Sir: Mr. Frick has your letter of the 6th and would be interested in the Franz Hals, but not in the other picture. The value, however, placed on the Hals is far in excess of what he would be willing to pay. If in view of this you desire to see him, he would be glad to have you call at his house on Saturday at eleven o'clock; meantime, he will retain the photographs sent him. Yours very truly,
