Messrs. Duveen Brothers, 720 Fifth Avenue, New York. Gentlemen: In Mr. Frick's absence I beg to acknowledge your favor of the 12th with corrected invoice of same date covering the bronzes recently purchased, and taking the place of invoice rendered August 30th. This invoice is still incorrect and I understand the matter, as you bill us with M.B. 8, Equestrian Figure of Alberico Guardi, and we have not received it.
