Dear Sir:
Dear Sir:

The picture by Dagnan-Bouveret, entitled "Les Disciples d'Emmaus," has been received and is found to be in good condition, as is also the frame. It was to-day cleared by the customs officer and is now in possession of the Carnegie Institute, the only remaining formality to be performed being the signing of a bond, under a recent decision of the Treasury Department in favor of the Institute. The bond will be signed by Mr. Frew, as President of the Board of Trustees, upon his return to Pittsburgh.
