Frick, Esq're Dear Sir: I have not had the pleasure of meeting you but possibly Mr. Carnegie has mentioned my name to you and so I venture to send you an enclosure that will explain itself and may interest you.

My sending this enclosure is apropos of my having just returned from spending a pleasant Sunday with Mr. Frank Thomson at Merion and he, having seen you recently, was speaking of your interest in art matters and your purchasing pictures.
