Thanks for your letter of the 31st ultimo.  I am sure they will permit dogs in The Balsams.  I am glad you are enjoying your summer.  On your way to investigate The Balsams, I should like you to arrange to stop a few days with us.

Mr. Frick desires me to thank you for the trouble you have taken in sending him the photographs, etc. in your letter of March 30th. He, however, would not care to purchase any of the pictures as he is only buying pictures of which he does not have examples.
