THOMAS HASTINGS, ARCHITECT 52 Vanderbilt Avenue New York THEODORE E. BLAKE R.H. SHREVE

October 27th, 1919. Dear Mr. Frick: I am sending you the enclosed letter, which explains itself, from Mr. Fenner, who is the principal partner with Messrs. McKim, Mead & White. The Institute he refers to is the American Institute of Architects, a distinguished body of men from all over the country. There will be about sixteen in number. Knowing the amount of such requests you must have, I have no feeling in the matter if you find it inconvenient to allow them to see the house. Hoping you are well and that I shall have the pleasure of seeing you sometime in the near future, believe me, always with kindest regards, Faithfully yours, Thomas Hastings Encl.

H.C. Frick, Esq.,

  1. 1 East 70th St.,

New York City.

P.S. Mr. Fenner has just told me that they are to visit Mr. Morgan's library between 4 and 5 o'clock on Tuesday, November 11th.
