I was sorry to learn from Roland that you had abandoned your trip to Europe.  You would have enjoyed our new place & it is a jolly place for lunch thoroughly comfortable throughout.  Our exhibition is a great success & is very fine.  I borrowed some fine pictures here in London for the opening & I think have established the fact that we deal in other things than Ridgway Knights and [[ ?? ]] Roland is very pleased with it & has never been so comfortable in his life.

I went to Coombe Monday & it brought to mind our fine contests of last year.  It did look beautiful the blue bells & chrysanthemums & the courses has been very much improved.  We couldnt get Coombe House
