The van Marcke has arrived. Was somewhat delayed on account of the heavy expressage which always occurs around Christmas. I enclose you a statement showing the exchange.  
 
Mr. Hamman is spending Monday in Pittsburg and he will stop in to see you at your office some time after luncheon. In case of your absence will you be kind enough to leave word with someone when he can run out to see your collection?
