My dear Mr. Frick: Your Rembrandt was sent home before my return from Europe, else I should have written to you at the time, to thank you again for your kindness in leading it to the Museum, and to tell you what a great attraction it has been in our galleries during the summer. I am told that many visitors have come here especially to see it, and there are still constant inquiries about it.
