a lifetime. Knoedler has found a frame which suits the picture admirably and it looks incredibly beautiful. Every time I see it it becomes more wonderful and all the critics here are unanimous as to INSERTED TEXT its /INSERTED TEXT extraordinary and unique qualities. Even in Rembrandt's works there is nothing ?? which touches quite this note.

and have learned a great deal. I HAVE?? now opportunities of getting some of the finest Persian miniatures I wonder whether they wld. WOULD interest you. If so please let me know. There are also the most wonderful examples of 13th century Persian pottery, from RHAQ?? and 13th century enamelled glass to be had. I speak to you of these things because they give me the most intense aesthetic pleasure and I feel that you would have the same delight in them, but you may have decided not to go outside
