March 13, 1912.

Mr. F. W. McElroy, Frick Building, Pittsburgh, Pa.

Dear Mr. McElroy:-

The purport of the present is to inform you that we are returning to 640 Fifth Avenue, Mr. Frick's Rembrandt, "Portrait of himself", which we had here to be cleaned and varnished.

We have just telephoned to the French Hospital, and they tell us that Holroyd is as well as possible, and that in about ten days he will be able to leave.

Very truly yours,

SIGNED M Knoedler & Co.
