COPY.

New York, October 15, 1910.

Mr. Henry C. Frick, % Knoedler & Co., 355 Fifth Avenue, N. Y. City.

Dear Sir:-

With further reference to one case of pictures imported by you in the S/S Laurentic from Liverpool on March 28th, 1910, and which was cleared at the Customs as an antique over 20 years old, please be advised that we are not yet in receipt of affidavit from the shipper certifying to the antiquity of said painting.

After taking the matter up with our London office, they inform us that the shipper advises them that the consular invoice and affidavit in connection with this shipment, were sent to you direct at New York at time of shipment. Will you therefore kindly look the matter up and let us have the documents if in your possession so that we may satisfy the customs.

Yours very truly,

(Signed) B. F. Boos, Manager.
