Dear Mr. Frick,
I am in receipt of your two favors of July 23 & 24th, the latter with check for $9710. profit in Southern Pacific kindly carried by you so long for which I thank you again. I enclose ?? {[??]] as requested.
We arrived here on Sunday having motored down from Paris with beautiful weather. I am very fond of this quiet but picturesque place: I am feeling splendidly. Plain food no sauces nor liquor will certainly be beneficial. Before leaving Paris I was thoroughly examined by a good Doctor who told
