I shall be most grateful to you if you will let me have a further substantial cheque on account of Furnishing Work we have done for you, and I would beg you to remember that any payment now is worth more to me than it would normally mean, and will do me a really great service - The Bank is charging us 6% I am making Mr. Copley - our accountant in New York, to see you in regard to a payment on the electric lighting of your Picture Gallery, and a substantial furhtery payment on account of the otherwork that is finished. A [pound sign]1000. - on account of the Drawing Room would also be of the greatest service to me.
