JD-A Dear Mr. Frick, I duly received the telegram you were kind enough to send me and was very pleased that you sent a wire to Mr. Morgan, for it certainly helped matters, although I had been trying to push everybody concerned to expedite delivery of the room. I went down town twice to see the Morgan lawyers and others. I find that Mr. Morgan has just postponed his departure for one week. I was at the library today and have succeeded in ascertaining that we shall most probably be able to take the room away on Wednesday, but surely Thursday next at the latest. Allow me to again say how sorry I am that it could not have been all properly arranged during your absence.
You will be interested to hear that the room at the Museum has been crowded every day. It is almost impossible to get into it. The public interest and excitement have been marked!
I trust you have returned well after your trip to remain.
