Dear Mr. Frick.
I can't begin to tell you how grateful I am to you for carrying the 200 shares of Reading. I unfortunately bought at 106 1/2 & needing all my spare money over here I took the liberty of cabling you to help me & I can't begin to thank you for your kindness. I sincerely hope it will move up swiftly so I will be able to get out of it even unless you think I ought to hold it, as a good thing, for a fair profit. therefore

I will ask you kindly to inform Phillips to sell at whatever figure you think. it is asking an awful lot of you I know, but you told me that I could! - a thousand thanks, my dear Mr. Frick for your great favor, & you may rest assured that if there is anything I can do for you in any shape or manner you may always depend upon me implicitely SIC and with discretion.
I sincerely hope everything is going on well with you, and your family is well. I have heard from the Carstairs Combination, except the wire that they sent last week saying that they would stay a week at Ostend then come to Paris & Trouville. too bad you are not with us. you would enjoy it so; I expect to go Saturday next the 10th & stay about ten days, unless they call me
