Porcelains -5- (LIBRARY Cont.) BLACK HAWTHORN BEAKER VASE on carved ebony stand. Decorated with a white prunus-tree springing from light green and rose-colored rocks, near which finches and deep green bamboo leaves are seen; a collar of black scroll design on pale green encircles the base of the neck, which is decorated like the body. K'ANG HSI Ht. 22 1/4" TALL NECKED BEAKER in black enamel. The black enamel of this vase is of the "raven's wing" variety deep in tone with a dull lustre. Prunus flowers on branches in the purest white overspread the surface of the body and neck, with leaves in the brightest green. K'ANG HSI Ht. 16 3/4" QUADRILATERAL BLACK HAWTHORN VASE, white prunus and leafless bamboo growing from green and rose-colored rocks; in the branches and flying above are yellow finches. K'ANG HSI Ht. 22" QUADRILATERAL BLACK HAWTHORN VASE, decorated with the flowers of the four seasons in reserve on black enamel. K'ANG HSI Ht. 20 3/4"
