Dear Mr. Frick,

I see by your card to meet Mr. A. J Cassatt kindly sent me that you will not be in New York to-morrow as you expected.

You were kind enough to say that during the summer we might have some money on our notes as we might need it. I will call you up on the phone at about 11.30 to-morrow morning so as to get your INSTRUCTIONS ?? as to how we are to proceed & communicate them to my bookkeeper and power of attorney whose signature will be on this letter.

As usual I am very grateful to you for all that you have done and will do. I explained to you that my wish was with your assistance to avail myself of an opportunity to purchase. I am sailing Thursday morning at 10 on the "Savoie"

Regretting that I will not be able to meet Mr. Cassatt & with kind remembrances to Mrs. Frick & Helen believe me
