Frick, Carnegie Building, Pittsburgh, Pa. Dear Sir: Will you kindly telegraph Mr. Frick, whose address South we do not know, if he has any objections to allowing Mr. Carnegie's Chartran portrait to be reproduced in the "Illustrated American " which is to contain an article on Mr. Chartran's forthcoming exhibition in our gallery. Underneath the reproduction will be "from the original painting by T. Chartran presented to the Carnegie Library by H. C. Frick".
