LETTERHEAD M. KNOEDLER & CO., SUCCESSORS TO GOUPIL & CO., 355 FIFTH AVENUE, NEW YORK. CABLE ADDRESSES. KNOEDLER _ NEW YORK. KNOEDLER _ PARIS. PARIS OFFICE, 2 RUE GLÜCK. /LETTERHEAD

P. S. - Your favor of yesterday just receuved SIC .

I take note of your desire to dispose of your two paintings by Inness for $10000.-, less our commission.

I can speak to my friend Wille SIC R. Hearst about the pictures, and others who might be interested in works by this artist, of course without mentioning your name. It would be much more satisfactory to have the paintings, so as to be able to convince the people of their beautiful merits. If I think there is a chance of a sale I will let you know.

Yours SIGNED Chas. L. Knoedler.
