Selina, eldest daughter of the Hon. George Shirley, and of Mary, daughter of Humphrey Sturt, and grand-daughter of Robert, first Earl of Ferrers. year in green ink: Married Sir Thomas George Skipwith Bart, who was the fourth and last Baronet of that line. Her husband died, leaving no heirs.

When this portrait was painted, there were two branches of the family, baronets in each line: the Elder of Newbold Hall, which became extinct in 1790; the other of Prestwould, of which Sir George Humberston Skipwith is the present representative. In green ink: Ŧ
