Dear Sir,

I have seen Mr Tadema who is delighted that you are the owner of his picture "Watching," he thinks most highly of this picture, as I dare say he told you, he does not date his pictures, the figures under his signature is the number of his pictures. The letters on ?? are Andromeda & Perseus which is the title of the background tale ?? written in center of picture.
