LETTER

Dear Sir,

Herewith I beg to submit to your inspection a photograph from a most charming picture by Corot, entitled "Idyl" which has been sent me by my correspondent in Paris. The size of the picture is 28 1/2 x 20." canvas The tone is a silvery grey, and transparent throughout, and a work of the best period of the artist. The price landed ?? 14.000.-

There is another Corot somewhere larger 24x32 oblong, subject "Nymphs" which would be ?? 22.000. provided the offer made to the owner is accepted. Should it
