on for the Museum. To this I must add about $[pounds symbol] 50 for the transference to canvas which I think is absolutely necessary to fit it for the American climate. I shall supervise this process over here. I will let you know if it costs less than $[pounds symbol] 50 and remit to you the difference. Mr Turner of Shirleys will therefore send you an invoice for $[pounds symbol] 3800 and will transmit $[pounds symbol] 50 to me on receipt of that sum from you. I hope you will be able to let me know soon when you expect to be in London as I am hoping to be able to get you access to the Royal Collection at Buckingham Palace. Your sincerely Roger E Fry
