  • METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART

NEW YORK

October 31, 1907.

Henry C. Frick, Esq.

My dear Mr. Frick: Your Rembrandt was sent home before my return from Europe, else I should have written to you at the time, to thank you again for your kindness in leading it to the Museum, and to tell you what a great attraction it has been in our galleries during the summer. I am told that many visitors have come here especially to see it, and there are still constant inquiries about it. Please believe that we appreciate the privilege we have enjoyed in being allowed to exhibit it. With kind regards to Mrs. Frick and yourself I am Very truly yours Edward Robinson
