At a meeting of the Committee on the Museum, on Thursday, December 22nd, 1910, it was Voted: That the hearty thanks of the Trustees of the Museum of Fine Arts be sent to Mr. Henry Clay Frick for his generosity in allowing his magnificent collection of paintings to be exhibited at the Museum. For the Museum it was a great privilege to exhibit the collection, for the Boston public interested in art it was an unprecedented opportunity for instruction and enjoyment.
