16 December, 1910 MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS. BOSTON. MASS. My dear Mr Frick The numberof people who have come here to see your paintings—just under forty nine thousand—have shown you how the people of Boston have appreciated their opportunity. May I express to you my personal thanks for your kindness in permitting this exhibition? It has proved a notable event in this history of this museum. Enclosed please find a copy of Mr Gerrity's receipt. In order that our records may be complete would you please return to us our Temporary Loan Receipts nos 170-173, and also sign and return the enclosed receipts?
