Paintings MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS BOSTON, MASS. December 9, 1910. Office of H.C. Frick Dec 13 1910 Dear Mr. Frick I think you will be interested to know the attendance at the Museum, if you do not already know it. The attendance on last Monday was 1,583. This was a pay day, the Museum was only open to annual subscribers ad purchasers of tickets. On Tuesday the attendance was practically the same, namely, 1,565. On Wednesday it jumped to 2,134. On Thursday it was still larger namely, 2,885, today, up to three P.M, 2,583 people have entered the building. It is probable that the attendance today will exceed that on Thursday. This is a very extraordinary record ad shows the tremendous interest which the public take in your wonderful collection. Yours faithfully, Gardiner M Lane H.C. Frick, Esq 640, Fifth Avenue, New York, N.Y. R
