Henry C. Frick Esq Dear Sir The Copley Society of Boston is to have a very important exhibition of Spanish pictures which will open in Copley Hall of February 28th 1912; and I am writing at the request of the Committee in charge to ask if you would not lend us your portrait of Philip IV and your head of a young girl by Velasquez and your head of a man by El Greco? Of course we would take every precaution possible for the safety of the pictures while in our care, and pay all expenses connected with them if you felt that you could let them come. It is perhaps needless for me to say anything
