December 17, 1918. Mr. Frick's Secretary 1 East 70th Street, New York City.

Dear Sir: Miss Sally Cross of Boston, Mass., a painter by Profession, is in New York for three days, and very anxious to see Mr. Frick's Fragonards, If Mr. Frick is willing that she should visit his house for the purpose, will you kindly send her a card to that effect addressed to The Devon, 70 West 55th Street?
