BRITISH MINISTRY OF MUNITIONS OF WAR IN U.S.A. PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT 1633-1645 Equitable Building 120 Broadway New York April 22, 1918.

Mr. Henry C. Frick, 5th Avenue & 70th Street, New York City.

My dear Sir: Some time ago I had the very great pleasure of seeing your collection of pictures, which was indeed an experience that I shall never forget. As my father-in-law, Mr. Frederick T. Vaux of Chicago, who is also in a small way a collector of pictures, is on here from Chicago, I was hoping very much that you would be kind enough to allow me to either bring him or send him with one or two friends to see the many wonders contained in your beautiful gallery. If this can possibly be arranged I assure you it will be greatly appreciated. Very truly yours, W.de.B Whyte WdeBW/EAD
