New York April 19th 1918 7 WEST THIRTY-SIXTH STREET My dear Mr Bridge, My friends, Mr & Mrs Dwight have received the amicable invitation from Mr Frick and will call surely this afternoon - I do not know how to thank you for your good officer and I would like you also to tell Mr Frick how much I appreciate his extreme kindness You were good enough to ask Mr. Frick a card for myself and I anticipated the pleasure to come also - But, unfortunately, I am absolutely prevented - I have its very afternoon a meeting at the French Hospital and a Liberty Loan Committee meeting which I am obliged to attend - I hope to be able to make ask soon - Once more, many many thanks - Sincerely yours, Emile Rey
