The Pennsylvania Dinner December 8, 1917 Dîner Français THE Nineteenth Annual Dinner of The Pennsylvania Society will be held in the Grand Ballroom of the Waldorf-Astoria on Saturday, December 8, 1917, at 7 o'clock P. M. The Dinner is planned as a tribute to heroic France; the French Ambassador, Dr. J. J. Jusserand, will be the guest of honour. It will have, therefore, a direct relationship to the great problems now confronting the world, and may be expected to be an event of international interest. Dr. Jusserand's high distinction as a scholar and student of English literature, the long service he has given his country in America, and the splendid valour shown by his countrymen in the Great War unite in making his presence at our Dinner an occasion of great importance and significance. Colonel Theodore Roosevelt and United States Senator Henry Cabot Lodge have accepted the invitation of the Society to speak at the dinner. Subscription, $10.00. Reception by Mr. Henry C. Frick to the members of The Pennsylvania Society participating in the Dinner, December 9. See over sheet. The Fifth Annual Dinner of the Society of Pennsylvania Women in New York will be given in connection with the Dinner of The Pennsylvania Society. Subscription, open only to the member of this Society, $5.00. Please address all communications to 249 West 13th Street, New York.
