My dear Mr. Frick: I have no words to thank you for the kind reception which I received this morning in your home. The hour spent among your beautiful paintings will remain one of the best souvenirs of my life. I pray that God will give you a very long life in order that you may enjoy the wonderful collection which your genious has enabled you to make a collection which is adequate proof that no life has been spent better than yours. I have been very happy to see the portrait of the Marquis Spinola made by Rubens, because, as you know, my daughter is the Marchise Spinola of to-day. I beg you kindly accept my respectful homage. Yours sincerely, G.E Elia Mr. Henry C. Frick 1 East 70th St. New York City
