VI- Nominations There shall be a Nominating Committee of three, one of who shall be named by the Chair, and two by the Club, at the March meeting. This Committee shall mail to the Club blanks for nominations. Each member shall fill in the blanks with the name of her choice for each office and return to the Chairman of Nominating Committee. From the names received the Committee shall prepare a ticket made from those and shall report the same at the April meeting. This ticket, when accepted, shall become the official ballot and shall be used as such at the Annual Election in May. Members in arrears for dues shall neither be entitled to nominate nor to be nominate nor to vote.

VII- Elections All the Officers shall be elected every two years, The Governing Board shall have power to fill any vacancies that may occur.

VIII- Standing Committees The Officers shall appoint annually the following Standing Committees:

Literature Hospitality Music Program Art Audit Philanthropy House

IX- Quorum A Quorum of the Society shall be eleven. A Quorum of the Governing Board shall be five. X- Rules of Order Roberts Rule of Order shall govern the proceedings of the New York Browning Society.

XI- Amendments These By-Laws may be amended at any Regular Meeting by a two-thirds vote of the members present. 30 New Members
