ARTICLE V Meeting Section 1. Regular meetings shall be held monthly from October until May, inclusive. Sec. 2. Special and Social meetings shall be held at intervals during the season, as decided by the Society. Sec. 3. The Annual Meting shall be held the Second Wednesday in May. ARTICLE VI Finances The Finances of this organization shall be derived from the payment of an Initiation Fee and Annual Dues. The Initiation Fee shall be Two Dollars ($2.00) for Active and Non-Resident Members. The Annual Dues shall be Five Dollar ($5.00) for Active Members Three Dollars ($3.00) for Associate Members, Two Dollars ($2.00) for Non-Resident Members and Two Dollars ($2.00) for Clubs. ARTICLE VII The Constitution may be amended by a two-thirds vote of the members present at any regular meeting provided notice of Amendment had been sent to each member with the notice of said Meeting. By Laws I-Membership Section 1. The proposer of a candidate for admission shall send to the Corresponding Secretary a letter of recommendation, stating name and address of candidate, whether the candidacy be for Active, Associate or Non-Resident membership, and present knowledge of candidate's fitness for same. Sec. 2. Each candidate must be vouched for by two members other than the proposer, who will be asked to write letters of recommendation also. Sec. 3. The application, together with the letters of recommendation, shall then be presented by the Corresponding Secretary to the Governing Board, which shall have power to elect. Membership shall be completed by signing the register and paying the Initiation Fee and Yearly Dues. Sec. 5. Members in arrears may be dropped from membership list at discretion of Governing Board. II-Duties of Officers The duties of Officers shall be those required by general usage of Parliamentary Law. III- Governing Board The Governing Board shall administer the affairs of the Society. It shall make such report at the regular meeting as may be deemed advisable. IV-Official List The Official List of the New York Browning Society shall consist of all Active Members in good standing and shall be in the hands of the Recording Secretary. V-Resignations All resignations shall be presented by the Corresponding Secretary to he Governing Board, who shall have the power to act.
