Dear Mr. Frick- I am sending you enclosed for perusal a letter to me from Prof. Allan Marquand on the so called Houdon bust of La Clairon, with his noted giving me permission to show it to you, as I am sure it will interest you and show that the writer has more doubts about he bust than would seem from his article on the same subject in Art in America for February.
