Prides Crossing, Mass, July 6, 1916.

Dear Mr. Ripley:

Your uncle told me that a card presented by you to see my pictures was not honored, and for some reason you did not get into the house, If you still have the card, will you send it to me, I should also like to know, if you please, who declined to let you in. When our house is opened in the fall, I will be very glad to give you a card any time for yourself and friends.
